To feed the hungry of Lamar County with no regard to race, religion, sex, or country of origin. To deliver the food as efficiently as possible, always being cognizant of the resources we have been given.

Need Food?

Bring an ID, proof of address (within Lamar County) and birthdates of all household members. Receive food every 2 weeks. Contact us for more information: 903-737-8870.

We distribute groceries year-round:

Tuesdays 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Thursdays 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.


Senior food box (age 60+) given out

2nd Monday of the month 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

Pantry History & Highlights

2009 — Began in a Sunday School classroom on the bottom floor of the United Methodist Church. Served approximately 100 families.

2009 — Became a partner agency with the North Texas Food Bank.

2011 — Moved to our current location at 124 W. Cherry (8,700 sq ft.).

2012 — Awarded the Community Innovator of the Year from the North Texas Food Bank. Served 11,072 people and distributed 1.1 million pounds of food.

2016 — Became a United Way partner agency. 

2019 — gave out 2.7 million pounds of food, provided 2.25 million meals to 12,745 people in 4,367 households (25% of Lamar County population)

2021-22 — built new external warehouse & paved parking lot in concrete

2023 — installed custom-built 300 sq ft freezer for more frozen protein storage & distribution

2024 — Our 15th year - served more people than ever before (27% of the Lamar County population).
